Abiquiu, NM
Met the author, Napoleón Garcia, a Genizaro storyteller. A Genizaro claims ancestry of both the Native American tribes of the area and Colonial Spanish settlers. It was an unexpected and wonderful time. He shared important information about his people and when he worked with artist Georgia O'Keefe.
